Tonight was another exciting styling event at CWS Simply The Best.  The theme was *Valentines*and boy did everyone out do themselves.  Here is my outfit that I presented for this event.  What comes to your mind when someone say "Valentines*.   Romance, hearts, flowers, and chocolates are just a few things that come to my mind.  Giggles, and I don't need to worry about romance, so this year I would love a bouquet of roses. Here I am wearing a bouquet dress of red roses with gold embellishments and shimmering tiny lights glowing throughout the bouquet.  Stunning ruby and diamond jewelry adorn this gorgeous bouquet of roses.  Notice the arrangement of red flowers and twigs intertwined among the petals of hair framing the face.    Who wouldn't want this stunning bouquet of red flowers for Valentines.

Hello my name is Timberlynn and I want to  welcome you to tonights Face and Body Paint theme.   I got really excited when I saw what the styling theme was.  I am really into Fairies and knew this would be a great idea for the show.  I am known as the Garden Fairy who helps tend the beautiful flowers in a garden.  I talk to them, play soothing music for them, just keep them happy and content.   I do love my job.  Hope to see you in my garden some day.

Tonight we had another styling event at CWS Simply The Best.  The theme for tonights styling was Ladies/Men's suit.  I know that we all know that a nice shirt, pair of slacks, and a blazer can be called a suit.   Tonight I am going to dress up a suit and make it a stylish attire.  I am wearing a beige jacket matching slacks and a button down olive shirt.  To make this a little more feminine I added a slimming belt around  the jacket to accent the waist and a large earth toned scarf draped over the shoulders.   I then added a tie with a cameo pin to offset the shirt from the jacket.  Jewelry was simple, a pair of gold swirled earrings.  Not to be out done by the men, I also added a fedora hat dark brown in color.  Now tell me if this isn't a very stylish suit that would get anyone that power position.

Tonights styling theme for CWS Simply The Best was Indian Tribe.  I am very familiar with the Navajo tribe, so I decided to do this one.  The Navajo Nation, with more than 250,000 members, is the largest U.S. Indian tribe.  The DinĂ©, or "The People," as the Navajo call themselves, migrated to the Southwest from the North around the 15th century. They were first noticed by other peoples between the 14th and 15th century, between the Champa and upper San Juan rivers. The Navajo are well-known for their many crafts including weaving of blankets and rugs, silversmithing, and Sandpainting.

The styling for CWS Simply The Best was Strip Tease.  This is the outfit I wore and description I used.

Gypsy Rose Lee (January 9, 1911[1] – April 26, 1970) was an American burlesque entertainer famous for her striptease act. She was also an actress, author, and playwright whose 1957 memoir was made into the stage musical and film Gypsy.  Hi I am Timberlynn Resident and  when I heard that the theme for the styling event was *Strip Tease*, this famous lady came to mind.  She would use humor, good taste, and was classy while doing it.    I present to you Timberlynn, our Miss Gypsy Rose Lee.

This has really been a busy two weeks.  Today was another styling event at CWS.  Our theme was  Rock and Roll.  Rock and roll is a genre of popular music that originated and evolved in the United States during the late 1940s and early 1950s, primarily from a combination of African American blues, jump blues, country, jazz, and gospel music.   Beyond simply a musical style, rock and roll, as seen in movies and on television, influenced lifestyles, fashion, attitudes, and language.  This is my interpretation of the 1950's fashion for Rock and Roll. -

Prohibition in the United States (from 1920 to 1933) banned the sale of alcoholic drinks, resulting in illicit speakeasies becoming lively venues of the "Jazz Age", an era when popular music included current dance songs, novelty songs, and show tunes.
Hi my name is Timberlynn and our theme for this styling event is *All That Jazz*.  My outfit today, depicts a Roaring 20's Flapper.  Flappers were a "new breed" of young Western women in the 1920s who wore short skirts, bobbed their hair, listened to jazz, and flaunted their disdain for what was then considered acceptable behavior. Flappers were seen as brash for wearing excessive makeup, drinking, treating sex in a casual manner, smoking, driving automobiles and otherwise flouting social and sexual norms.

This was a fun styling event and I learned a lot about that time in history.  I was really shocked that I came in first place in the event, as I'm always having lag problems on sl.  There were so many great stylings by the other contestants, that it really must have been hard for the judge to decide who would win.  I want to congratulate Sweetyuna 2nd place, and Ziggy who took 3rd place.  All the contestants did a spectacular job.
